Kreayshawn is just a stage name Natassia Zolot, who was born in San Francisco and grew up in Oakland, California. Music runs in this young diva's family. Her mom Elka Zolot was in an influential San Francisco punk garage band called the Trashwomen. Even though Kreayshawn has gone a different direction with her music (less guitars and more beats!), she's definitely inherited her mom's punk spirit and DIY attitude, but has all the swagger and flair of a street-wise Oakland rapper. She works with a posse she calls the White Girl Mob, consisting of herself and her friends DJ Lil' Debbie and vocalist V-Nasty.

"Bitch I'm Honey Cocaine, 'bout to bring in some pain. All my haters like a choir, they all singing my name."
I'm pretty sure I might need to go back to college, because there's a school I really want to check out. Its name? The Global Skool of Twerk. Its president? Chippy Nonstop.
I wish I could say I made up that clever school name, but I didn't. It's actually the title of the Oakland artist's (collaborative work with NanosauR) latest E.P., and I'm loving it. If you don't know her yet come to the show and learn that bih!!!
