Raising Cadence
Raising Cadence
Raising Cadence is a 5-piece progressive/rock band from Orlando, Fl. The quintet formed in early 2014 from the remains of older local bands but with bigger hopes and an even bigger sound. Along with the musical meaning of Cadence, the name derives from a mutual friendship the band has with a man and his daughter and how their relationship became a model to live by. After completing the band line-up, RC started playing and recording new material with a great response from their local audience. With their edgy, progressive, and melodic tones, Raising Cadence is a force that is not only sure to tear through their scene, but also create new ones in the process. One thing is for certain, big things are to come from up and coming band Raising Cadence.
A Brilliant Lie
A Brilliant Lie
A Brilliant Lie is a think-outside-the-box alternative rock band from Orlando, FL. Since 2010, this on-the-rise band has received airtime on many of Central Florida's largest Clear Channel and college radio stations. They have performed multiple shows at the famous House of Blues (both as a supporting & headlining act). Additionally, they have secured slots at the Florida Music Festival four years in a row (supporting Anberlin, Minus the Bear, Less Than Jake, and more), and landed a slot at Sunfest 2012 (supporting Passion Pit, Coheed & Cambria, Foreigner, Snoop Dogg, and more). Their latest release "Waking Vessels" (2013) is a joint venture between ABL and renowned producer James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Underoath, Dashboard Confessional, and more).
Apache Resistance
Apache Resistance
"Now, I'm the direct descendant of the mountain man Jim Bridger. That means I got a little Injun in me. And our battle plan will be that of an Apache resistance. We will be cruel to the Germans, and through our cruelty they will know who we are. And they will find the evidence of our cruelty in the disemboweled, dismembered, and disfigured bodies of their brothers we leave behind us."-Lt. Aldo Raine, Inglorious Bastards.
Broken Streetlights
Broken Streetlights
With the release of their EP Shipworks, Orlando natives Broken Streetlights aim to return a classic punk rock sound, with the enthusiasm and passion lacking from digital trends. As veterans of the industry and the scene, Broken Streetlights effortlessly combine layers of catchy vocal melodies over hard hitting tones. Their dual singer front, and power chord driving beats provide nostalgia and authenticity in an industry searching for gains, lost in todays trends.
Formed in the summer of 2016, founding members Nikk and Greg sought to create a voice of unity exemplified in their hometown community of Orlando, FL. Within a month, they had constructed a core of songs solidifying the identity of their town, their lives, and Broken Streetlights itself. They enlisted the help of their closest colleagues—Barret, Steven & Edward—members just as passionate and ambitious to build Orlando’s voice with the sound of their songs.
After experiencing an initial success and positive response from the release of Shipworks, Broken Streetlights has begun to work on a full length and special edition Acoustic EP. Expected to be released in later 2017, look for Broken Streetlights to revive classic punk rock sounds, infused with the modern resonances of today. Broken Streetlights aims to create music for their fans, for their community, and for themselves.
