Aer
David von Mering and Carter Schultz of Wayland, MA create music that finds its roots in reggae, acoustic pop and indie rock, with smooth guitar riffs and a strong rap component. Their mixtapes "Water on the Moon" (released Fall 2010) and "The Reach" (May 2011) were picked up on major college music blogs such as This Song Is Sick, Good Music All Day, Sunset in the Rearview, 1146 Miles, and Dirty Mexican Lemonade. Aer has performed at Lehigh University, University of North Carolina, University of South Carolina, University of Vermont, Roger Williams University, Syracuse University, The Studio at Webster Hall, and sold out headline shows at Canal Room in New York City and The Middle East Club in Boston. "The Reach", which was sponsored by popular college music blog Good Music All Day, has amassed over 35,000 downloads since its May 9th release. Their iTunes single "Feel I Bring" made the front of the Reggae page when iTunes placed the song in their "New & Noteworthy" section and one of their latest singles, "Slow Down" was featured on prolific hip-hop blog 2dopeboyz. Aer has shared the stage with the likes of Mac Miller, Hoodie Allen as well as Cris Cab, who they joined this summer on part of his tour at Webster Hall in NYC, and O'Brien's in Boston. Their latest release, EP "What You Need," rose to the #1 album on the iTunes hip-hop charts, and also made it in the top ten on the iTunes overall album charts.
Yonas
Hailing from the Bronx, Yonas is one of hip-hop’s most-hyped emerging artists. Known for his incredibly unique style, the 25 year old makes it known that he is unlike anyone else in the game.

Too many times in music, and specifically in Hip-Hop and Rap, people feel the need to conform to what’s popular. I have no intention of doing that. Instead I look to really mold my own style, and take risks musically”
Although Yonas is just breaking out, he has already built-up quite the list of accomplishments . In 2009, Yonas won a Billboard songwriting award for one of our favorite tracks “Banga”. Additionally, his hit single “Shy Kidz” was featured on MTVu as well as Fuse TV. Just this past month, Yonas was featured on XXL Magazine’s “The Break”.

Yonas released his first mix tape, “I Am Us” back in 2010, and dropped his second project entitled “The Proven Theory” just over a year ago. Both have been very well received by fans and the multimillion YouTube view counters can vouch for that. “The Transition” is the title to Yonas’ latest work, and is available for free now. Stay in touch with Yonas on Facebook and Twitter for all things Yonas, and be sure to check out his store for the latest from his apparel line.
