Sounduo
Sounduo is a post-dub, audio/visual live performance project. It features poly-rhythmic hip-hop grooves, vintage samples, soulful vocals, ambient soundscapes, and heavy synth bass passed through a scuzzed-out dub filter and mangled using the latest in glitch technology, live. Masters of creating a futuristic glowing dub atmosphere while maintaining the bass-driven, party-vibe feel of bass music, Sounduo has showcased their abilities to cater to both festival environments as well as intimate club settings. Whether performing in the Southeast at some of the biggest music festivals (Ultra,Blackwater,Aura, Winter Music Conference, Art Basel), sharing dates with artists such as Big Gigantic, Elliot Lipp, Zoogma, and Archnemesis, headlining club dates, or being featured on prominent electronic blogs, Sounduo's buzz for their live performances has steadily grown and the next year promises to be a leap forward for these electronic and visual dub pioneers.
With the release of 'Departures,' their debut LP on Made in Glitch (Bass Science, Gladkill, NastyNasty,Samples,GRiZ), and subsequent Southeast regional tour in early 2012, Sounduo continues to push the boundaries of post-dub/glitch music and are poised to enter the national arena. Robot Ears
Robot Ears was started in early 2011 when Justin "Radi8" Rogacki and Anthony "Townsky" Diaz decided to put together a group showcasing their love for the electronic realm of music therefore creating Robot Ears. Mixing smooth electro soul and catchy hip hop rhythms, Robot Ears is sure to get any crowd jumping. Both members are no strangers to live music logging over 800 shows and touring internationally with various groups. Anthony "Townsky" Diaz comes from a percussive background playing for over a decade, bringing to the group a funky pocket groove that is the backbone to the music. Justin "Radi8" Rogacki has been producing live electronic music since the early 90's making his mark in the underground Atlanta DJ scene,"Radi8" is the mastermind behind the soulful melodies and raw bass lines that create Robot Ears signature sound.Together this new duo has played numerous festivals in and around the central Florida area and look forward to bringing the music to the masses. With 2012 in motion look for Robot Ears to be the premiere electro hip hop dance party for central Florida and beyond...
